I am a self taught cook and wine lover on a budget. For years my friends and family have been asking me for my recipes or advice on what wine to buy. They complain that they don't have time to research recipes, just don't know how to cook or how to buy wine. I am conscious about eating healthy and finding the best value for your dollar when going out. I'll share my tips, recipes for food and cocktails, my favorite restaurants, bars, wine shops, etc. Salud!

Turley Zinfandel Old Vines 2009
A very big but yet tasty Zin coming from Paso Robles. This one can either be from Napa or Paso fruit for you wine geeks. It needs about 1-2 hours to decant before you drink it. So decant it before you begin to cook. Turley Zins can sometime be overpriced but this one is worth it. I believe it's around $35.00 to $45.00. I've seen it as high as $60.00 cuz it's hard to get sometimes.
