I am a self taught cook and wine lover on a budget. For years my friends and family have been asking me for my recipes or advice on what wine to buy. They complain that they don't have time to research recipes, just don't know how to cook or how to buy wine. I am conscious about eating healthy and finding the best value for your dollar when going out. I'll share my tips, recipes for food and cocktails, my favorite restaurants, bars, wine shops, etc. Salud!

BV Tapestry 2006
A well made wine not a 93 point wine that Robert Parker gave it! Anytime he rates wines high I tend to hate them they are usually big fruit bombs! This one is good but it took 4 hours just to open up. Some BV wines Rock and some just need time. I used to love the way BV made their wines in the past, now most California wines are just big fruit BOMBS! Some California winemakers are still keeping the alcohol low and the fruit perfect! I applaud you guys! This particular bottle ranges from $40.00 -$60.00 depending on where you get it. I recommend that you save your money for something else.Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot is the blend of this one.
