Happy 19th Anniversary To my Sister!

Love and Passion is one of a kind. 2 witness true love is something pure, to not ever have loved is a sin. Open yourself up and things will happen, close yourself off and you will never know. I've seen that kinda of love and passion through the eyes of a man on his 19th Anniversary.Mike, Thank You for making my Sister Happy all those years! Love you guys! HAPPY 19 TH ANNIVERSARY! May you be Blessed with many more years of Laughter,Screaming , Yelling, Disagreeing,Complaining, and once again Disagreeing with Each Other. The most important thing is 2 Laugh and Laugh...Like ,I know what I'm talking about as if I've ever been married. Still, Laughter is the key to everything according to "Tony Rhodes!"Oh and of course Great Wine and Food!!!!!!! Salud!

Grgich Hills Chardonnay!

YUM! Wow!this is a consistent Chardonnay from Grgich Hills if you see it, get it! Worth the money! After all Mike Grgich is an Amazing winemaker when he's on. He's been making wine since the late 1960's. I've seen this Chard go from $30's to $50's but it's Damn good! Not to much Oak at all. Smooth and good fruit!

Turley Zinfandel Old Vines 2009

A very big but yet tasty Zin coming from Paso Robles. This one can either be from Napa or Paso fruit for you wine geeks. It needs about 1-2 hours to decant before you drink it. So decant it before you begin to cook. Turley Zins can sometime be overpriced but this one is worth it. I believe it's around $35.00 to $45.00. I've seen it as high as $60.00 cuz it's hard to get sometimes.

Heitz Cellars Chardonnay!!

Now this is a great Chardonnay! Wow great balance and has low alcohol. You can actually taste the fruit on this one. If you can find it, grab a case! This one tastes like it's a $45.00 Chardonnay. SALUD!

BV Tapestry 2006

A well made wine not a 93 point wine that Robert Parker gave it! Anytime he rates wines high I tend to hate them they are usually big fruit bombs! This one is good but it took 4 hours just to open up. Some BV wines Rock and some just need time. I used to love the way BV made their  wines in the past, now most California wines are just big fruit BOMBS! Some California winemakers are still keeping the alcohol low and the fruit perfect! I applaud you guys! This particular bottle ranges from $40.00 -$60.00 depending on where you get it. I recommend that you save your money for something else.Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot is the blend of this one.

Costco Pizza Cont. Part 2!

I tried something new and it worked out great! So get the Costco Pizza with mozzarella, basil, and tomato.
Take off the basil. It costs around $10.00. In a pan heat up some olive oil with 5-6 gloves of  garlic or more!  1 chopped up onion. Then add pepper, paprika, splash of red wine vinegar and 1/2 of a lime. While it's cooking chop up 2-4 Chicken sausage links from Costco the good kind! the chicken sausages cost around $14.00 but you get like 15 sausages. Freeze the rest! Cook them all together not all the way .Then drop it on top of the pizza, Put it in the  Oven and wait ......smell the yummy smell of Garlic! For me I like to chop up 1-2 Jalapenos before putting it in the oven. Take pizza out then place Basil on top. Enjoy and Salud!
This Pizza was awesome with a Paso Robles Turley Zin! 2009 Old vine. Any Zin or even a cold Firestone Double Barrel Ale! White wine also works. If you don't drink then water!
